About Our Business

JDS Electric is a full service electrical contracting business, serving
commercial and industrial clients throughout Northern California.

Although JDS is a new venture, just opening our doors in 2004, our principles
have over 60 years of combined industrial, commercial and residential
electrical experience.

Joseph Stuter; the owner of JDS Electric got his start in 1980 working for his
father in the family owned plumbing and electrical business.  After a 4 year
tour in the marine corps as a communications and navigations technician, he
went back to his roots as an electrician.  Working for Honeywell in Motion
control, H&D Electric as a residential electrician and for Nutter & Sons as a
commercial foreman; has given Joe a broad knowledge base and the
experience to manage a wide variety of projects.

The desire to put all this knowledge and experience to work for himself, and
the desire to have a company where the employees share in the success of
the business is what led to getting his California State Contractors C-10
License this year and going out on his own.  

Not only do we believe in taking care of our employees, we believe in taking
care of our customers.  Getting and keeping satisfied customers is the key to
our success.  We here at JDS know that the customer comes first.  This is not
just lip service, this is the way we approach every task, large or small.
